Dialogue

The spoken words, set in a narrower centered column beneath the character cue.

Dialogue is what characters say out loud, formatted in a narrower column so an actor's eye can separate speech from action at a glance. Good screen dialogue is compression under pressure — people pursuing goals through speech, rarely saying exactly what they mean.
