By creating an account on One More Draft (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't create an account. Continuing to use the Service after a Terms update means you accept the update.
You must be 16 or older to create an account, and you confirm this when you sign up. Accounts that turn out to belong to anyone under 16 - or under 13 in the United States, where COPPA applies - will be suspended and deleted when discovered, along with their personal information. See the "Children" section of our Privacy Policy for how parents and guardians can reach us.
You're responsible for the security of your password and for everything that happens on your account. Tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access (security@onemoredraft.com).
You can delete your account at any time from /settings. Soft-deletion clears your personal info and removes your stories; certain authored content (forum posts, reviews, Hall of Fame entries) is retained in anonymized form so other people's content isn't broken.
You own everything you write. Stories, beats, characters, world elements, forum posts, messages - all yours. We claim no rights beyond what's needed to host and operate the Service.
By submitting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, transmit, and back up your content as needed to run the Service. This license terminates when you delete the content (with normal backup-purge delay).
We do not use your content to train AI models. AI features call third-party APIs (Anthropic) under contracts that forbid training on inputs. We do not sell your content or pass it to unrelated third parties.
You represent that you have the right to post what you post. Don't upload someone else's work and claim it as yours.
Common-sense rules. Don't harass other users. Don't post illegal content. Don't run scams. Don't spam. Don't impersonate other people. Don't try to bypass moderation, bans, or rate limits. Don't farm Workshop tokens via collusion with accounts you control.

We may remove content, suspend accounts, or ban users who break these rules. Egregious violations may be banned without warning.
AI features cost OMD Credits. Credits are purchased in packs or granted monthly to active subscribers. Credits have no cash value and are not redeemable for cash. Credit balances do not expire.

AI output is generated by language models and may be inaccurate, biased, or unsuitable. You're responsible for evaluating AI output before using it in your work. Don't treat AI suggestions as professional advice.
When you submit to the Workshop, your content is shown to reviewers who claim it. Reviewers are subject to the same Community rules. You agree that reviews are honest opinions, not professional consulting, and that we are not liable for review content.
Through the Marketplace, Industry Pros may sell coverage and services at prices they set. We facilitate the transaction but are not a party to the underlying service agreement. We take a platform fee (currently 15%) and remit the rest to the Pro via Stripe Connect.
We are not an agency or representation service. Discovering or engaging with a Pro through the Marketplace does not create any agency, fiduciary, or representation relationship.
The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We don't guarantee uninterrupted service, error-free operation, or that your data will never be lost. We back up the database continuously but you should keep your own copies of important work via the built-in export.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising out of the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages.
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced via an in-app notice and email (if you've opted in). Continuing to use the Service after a material update means you accept it.
These Terms are governed by the law of the jurisdiction where the Service is operated. Disputes are subject to the courts of that jurisdiction. (Specific jurisdiction will be set in the final version of these Terms after counsel review.)
