Refund Policy

Draft notice: first-pass policy. Subscriptions and coin purchases aren't live yet โ€” this is the policy that will be in effect when they ship.

Coin packs

Coin pack purchases are generally non-refundable. Coins have no cash value and don't expire. If you bought a pack you don't end up using, the coins stay in your account.

Exceptions where we will refund:

  • Accidental duplicate purchase within 7 days โ€” we'll refund the duplicate if the coins weren't spent.
  • Service failure โ€” if an AI request you paid for failed and we couldn't complete it, the coins are automatically returned to your balance. You don't need to ask.
  • Fraud / unauthorized purchase โ€” refunded once verified.

Subscriptions

Subscriptions can be cancelled anytime from the Stripe Customer Portal (linked from /settings once they launch). Cancellation stops future renewals; your current billing period remains active and you keep the coins granted at the start of that period.

Mid-period refunds:

  • Within 7 days of the first renewal: full refund of the most recent payment, contingent on usage. We deduct the cash value of any coins from the included stipend that were already spent (at the cheapest pack rate: $0.333/coin).
  • After 7 days, or on any subsequent renewal: no refund. Cancel to stop future renewals.

Marketplace (future)

When Marketplace launches: payments to industry pros are held in escrow until delivery + dispute window passes. If a pro fails to deliver, or the work is materially not what was advertised, you can open a dispute and we'll refund.

Standard delivery SLA is 14 days. Dispute window is 7 days after delivery.

How to request a refund

Email billing@onemoredraft.com with:

  • Your account username or email.
  • The transaction date and approximate amount.
  • Why you're requesting the refund.

We respond within 3 business days. Approved refunds return to the original payment method within 5โ€“10 business days (Stripe's standard turnaround).

Chargebacks

Please email us first before filing a chargeback. Chargebacks cost us fees and are usually resolvable directly. Filing a chargeback without contacting us may result in account suspension.
