Scene Number

Production numbering beside each scene heading, used for scheduling and call sheets.

Scene numbers appear in the margins beside each slugline once a script is locked for production — the shared index for schedules, call sheets, and editorial. Specs don't carry them; adding scene numbers to a submission draft is a classic tell of format learned from produced (shooting) scripts.
