Denouement (French for 'untying') is the story's last movement: the dramatic question has been answered, and these closing pages show the world reordered by it. Often it deliberately mirrors the opening image so the reader measures how far things have travelled.
Keep it short and concrete. A denouement that lingers to spell out the theme or revisit every character spends the momentum the climax just earned; the strongest ones land one clear picture of the after and stop.
