Chris Niespodzianski is a Pittsburgh-based writer, director, producer, and author with experience across independent feature film, screenwriting, development, packaging, and distribution. He co-directed and produced the feature film The Other Side, which secured distribution through Gravitas Ventures. He is also the co-writer and producer of the feature film #SKANK, which has attracted talent including Ron Perlman and Kevin Dillon. In addition, he is the author of the nonfiction filmmaking memoir Make the Damn Movie (Even If It Sucks), which chronicles the challenges and lessons learned while producing his independent feature film The Other Side. His background includes script development, fundraising, casting, production logistics, post-production, distribution, and the practical realities of getting independent projects made from concept to market. Chris brings a filmmaker’s perspective to story development, with a focus on character, structure, tone, producibility, and helping writers strengthen the version of the project they are trying to create. He is also the co-creator of OneMoreDraft.com, a platform dedicated to connecting writers with industry professionals and helping storytellers develop their projects.
Over the past two decades, I have developed, written, produced, and directed independent film and television projects from concept through distribution.
