Query Letter
The one-page letter that asks an agent or producer to read your work — hook, story, credentials.
A query is a cold introduction with one goal: get the pages requested. The working shape is three short movements — a hook (usually the logline), a compressed story paragraph, and a brief bio with anything that makes you credible.
Comparable titles ('comps') do quiet heavy lifting here: two well-chosen comps position the project's audience and tone faster than a paragraph of adjectives.
